Rules and Policies

Here’s everything you need to know about Mt. Princeton RV Park and all ways we continue to keep our resort a fun and safe place for all!

We hope you have a pleasant stay at our campground. It is our intention to have a clean, quiet campground. Therefore, our campground policies are those which extend common courtesies to your neighbors. We reserve the right to evict anyone (without refund) who refuses to extend these courtesies to others.

CHECK-IN TIME:

CAMPING CABINS / RV SITES: 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM (no later). Please check in at the office. Late check-ins will be charged a fee, so be on time!

Note – Once you are checked in, no refunds will be given for early departure.

CHECK-OUT TIME:

CAMPING CABINS / RV SITES: 11:00 AM.

EARLY CHECK-IN:

One hour early check-in is an additional $5.00, two hours early check-in is an additional $10.00, and three hours or more early check-in is considered an additional day.

LATE CHECK-OUT RV SITES:

A $10 late fee will be assessed after 11:15 AM.
After 1:00pm, a full day site fee is due. Late check-out is subject to availability.

If staying an extra day, the office must know by 10:00am. (This is subject to availability.)

OVERNIGHT GUESTS:

Campground for registered guests ONLY. Additional guests, beyond the original number registered, must pay $10.00 per person, per night in advance at office.

PETS:

Limit of One Dog Per Site. They must be kept quiet, on leash, exercised only in designated areas, and cleaned up after immediately. Pets are NOT allowed in buildings or on the playground. DO NOT leave pets outside, tied down or unattended. Pets must be kept on a 6-foot leash at all times. Loose pets will not be tolerated.

SPEED LIMIT:

10 mph. A very important rule! Please drive slowly and carefully in the park.

QUIET HOURS

From 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Playground is not to be used after DUSK. Please be quiet and considerate of your neighbors.

Please do not play music or watch TV outside your unit.

RESTROOMS:

Please help us keep the restrooms clean for all guests. Please contact office if attention is needed.

ALL VEHICLES & TRANSPORTATIONS:

A maximum of 2 vehicles per site. Washing is not permitted for any kind of transportation. Our water system cannot support this. If emergency maintenance must be done, please contact the office.

PARKING:

Park in designated site on gravel area. Do not park on grass, in other sites or impede main roads. If additional parking is needed, contact office.

GENERATORS:

NOT ALLOWED unless approved by office.

FIREWORKS & FIREARMS:

NOT ALLOWED.

ALCOHOL & DRUGS:

Use discretion when consuming alcohol. Drunkenness, loud parties or illegal drug use will NOT be tolerated. Violators will be evicted without refund.

OPEN FIRES:

We are high mountain desert climate. NO WOOD or CHARCOAL BURNING. Propane grills and firepits are allowed.

CLUBHOUSE and LAUNDRY ROOM HOURS:

The Clubhouse and Laundry Room are open 24/7.

PROPERTY GRASS:

Please do not park on the grass, put any stakes in the grass or cover the grass with a rug. Grass is high maintenance in high elevation. Thank you for understanding.

This is a privately owned facility. Owner and management assume NO RESPONSIBILITY for accidents, injuries, or losses of any kind from any cause. Management reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone, at any time, for any reason including condition of and/or type of camping unit.

EXTENDED STAY PARK RULES

Site service fees and any payments for utilities are due and payable as per the terms of the site service agreement. You will be charged a 5% late fee plus $10.00 per day past the due date if the total amount is not received in the office by the due date (NO PARTIAL PAYMENTS).
Speed limit is 10 MPH. Please drive slowly and carefully in the park.
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be quiet and considerate of your neighbors.
The number of people occupying the recreational vehicle shall not exceed two (2) adults. A penalty of $100.00 per person will be enforced if the occupancy rule is violated. Additionally, the appropriate fee for the number of additional persons will be charged and computed from the effective date of your site service agreement.
Your site is neat, clean, and adequate for your recreational vehicle. Please maintain the RV Site. Do not make any changes to the RV Site without the prior written consent of the park.
Loud, obnoxious, disorderly, boisterous, or unlawful conduct or conduct that disturbs or threatens the rights, comfort, or convenience of others in or near the Property will not be tolerated.
Recreational vehicles must be kept clean (no excessive mold, dirty streaks, etc.) and in good repair at all times. Broken awnings, hoses, seals, window air conditioners or sewage/water leakage will not be permitted. Long term guests are required to wash and wax their RV a minimum of once per year.
A positive sewer seal at both ends of your sewer hose is required by law.
Violence or the threat of violence will not be tolerated.
Smoking is not permitted in any building. If you choose to smoke outside, please do not throw butts on the ground.
No display, discharge or possession of a gun, knife or other weapon in any way that may alarm others is allowed.
The possession, sale or manufacture of illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia on the RV Site or anywhere else on the Property is prohibited.
The operation of a business on the RV Site or on the Property is prohibited.
The storage of hazardous materials on the RV Site or anywhere on the Property is prohibited.
No parking on the grass or in unassigned parking spaces.
No major vehicle repairs will be permitted on the premises.
PETS (dogs & cats) must be on a leash and under your control at all times. Please be respectful of others and CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PET! IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY!
Cutting of trees and plants is prohibited.
Keep your campsite litter free, including cigarette butts.
Do NOT wash campers or vehicles on premises unless you obtain permission from the office.
We try to keep our restroom and shower facilities neat and clean at all times. Please take care of them and report any problem immediately.
Any person/company coming into work on your unit for any reason MUST have a certificate of insurance on file with our office.
Do NOT leave trash out overnight as wild animals, dogs and cats can get into it. Observe the designated trash pickup times.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH ALL RULES WILL RESULT IN THE TERMINATION OF THE SITE SERVICES AGREEMENT AND REQUIRE YOU TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.

Storage Policies and Prices

We have 3 different sizes of storage:

Small $35 a month
Medium $45 a month
Large: $55 a month

Storage Policies:

We offer storage of RV’s, boats, cars, trucks, trailer, snowmobiles etc.
Year round or month to month storage available with storage accessible during winter.
One item per storage spot.
Payment must be made at least every 3 months or your items in storage will be considered abandoned and you forfeit ownership and we own it free and clear.
You are not allowed to camp in your RV while it is in the storage unit.
You are only allowed in the storage unit during daylight hours.
No refunds for early departure.
We do not have a dump station, nor do we offer water fill or trash dumping.
